Distance Between Planets

I am just getting started using the galaxy forge tool and I'm working on a 2v2 map. I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions of how far apart planets should be placed? I'd like it to be a moderately paced map not to fast, but not agonizingly slow either.

On the preview, wait a few minutes - the AIs will send out a ship eventually and you can see just how long it takes.

Also, try loading up a map that already came with the game. It'll give you an idea of how far planet distances are.
