Anyone know how to make a jpg of a map made with galaxy forge? I'd like to upload it, but have to have a jpg in order to do so. Thanks

use paint you got in windows, open what ever the file is and click "save as" remember to select jpg :)

to take a screenshot use the "print screen" on your keyboard and paste it into paint

I'd suggest using a program like Irfanview to save it as a jpeg. MSPaint really makes the jpeg compression godawful so you'll lose an unnecessary amount of quality.

Irfanview is free to use/download and contains no spyware. Let's you resize pictures and a bunch of other stuff too.

Hi Multianna. I tried paint and saved as a jpg. Upload still will not accept it. I am assuming though, that the request for a "skin" means a jpeg of the galaxy. Is that correct?

CidCaldensfey, thanks for the info will try that program.

Yep, used paint and Irfanview programs, saved as a JPEG (checked properties) but the the WinCustomize site keeps telling me: "Your skin has failed to upload. The skin file you are attempting to upload is not valid. Hint: Check the file extension. When uploading a new skin, your Skin file must also be submitted." I wonder if the file size is too large (12 KB)? I'll try to reduce it.

You have to upload the image to a website first. Try looking at a site like photbucket.

Save it as a PNG file.

The official library rules require JPG format. Please read the sticky at the top of this forum.

Did you zip the map itself?
