Mod request: Orbiting planets

I'm probably not the only one who wants planets to revolve around their stars... So can someone revive this mod: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=443&aid=166335 ?

It aint gonna happen. Phase lanes are hardcoded, so are the planets (only 1 in a gravity well. I believe they took the original orbiting planet code out, because orbiting worlds will reap havoc with the phase lanes.

Aren't the phase lanes based on the planet location?

Actually, orbiting got taken out because it wasn't fun. And various discussions pointed out you couldn't do phase lanes with orbiting planets.
