.sdc download, burn question

Is it possible to burn the game to DVD after download? It appears to be in a .sdc file format on my computer.

yeah, just burn it as a DATA dvd

you will still need to have the Stardock thing installed to run it.

Let's say for some reasen the sdc online service goes down... even forever. Will I still be able to play the game if I archived it + the sdc tool?
