Hot of the presses is the first top selling games chart (I'm aware of at the moment) for the start of the new year and Sins is on it! The PC list is:

Not bad for being out a couple days. The publisher even notes that to boot!

On a side note: Amazon rankings have a lot to do with this so PLEASE go to Amazon and post a review and use correct tags for more exposure. I already started another thread about Amazon with a direct link if anyone wants more information.

Right out of the gate and already running down the top 10, some of those games have been out for awhile and Sins has been for... like a few days.

Everyone should vote, beat WoW in the races and that will be impressive. Sins has the potential.

I agree but Sims is on that list several times which in and of itself shocks me to no end. So nothing short of #2 will work and that is a choke load of sales.

It appeals to casual gamers. It is simple yet interactive. You can design and dictate how your people live. They dont have to think about it.

I played it and got bored. I just dont see whats so great about it.

Maybe because it's has to do with crowd of female! Most female dont love game of destory or control empire, or huge ship to ship or fleet to fleet, or shoot someone like first shooter computer game, But Sims dont give a killing or control empire or some rot, yes I am male, and do have Sims 2, if male alone in sale, then there mostly wont be top sale, but might still selling to male who are late, but add to this there is a female who dont play battle or computer game or even young female might love to play Sims 2 rather then a doll or house. But game like this Sins of Solar Empire or Command of Coquer or any first shooter game like half life, those game most female find distaste, that's why Sims 2 most female appove, and there isn't many game for female will find enjoy, thought common child or animal lover will find game other then Sims 2 like z00 2 or something like that, I do have that kind of game, but Sims 2 or Z00 2 or even SimsCity 4, it's not my top daily, but Sins of a Solar Empire I will enjoy, everyday at least maybe because I'm male, but for female, they like "Men!", they love to have a family, love, love ect, while we glory of battle or empire,, Nothing wrong with female, I love way they are, though they could hmmmm little mean talking or getting in our way of enjoy something, but that's what there are. That's why Sims 2 stay in the power, because there is not many game for female! I think!

I have no doubt it is because of the girls. After all they are the source of many problems for men. :p

Anyway, things are looking good for Sins on the retail side of things as far as I can tell. I must say I'm amazed Frogboy has not mentioned this listing in his recent "State of Sins..." post.
