Time to muster the troops!

Aloha!

OK guys you all know the drill! Go to Amazon and post your reviews!
Currently it is ranked #3 for ALL game sales this month (so far). It is listed as #2 for "Hot New Releases" and #15 for "Most Wished For" for ALL games and all platforms.

Come on guys we should actively promote the game whenever and where ever we can as end users. Word of mouth carries a lot of weight with many consumers and media outlets.

Also please make sure you use the right tags for the game. So it shows in searches and for the "other products" strip.

Dam congrats to Stardock #3 so far, Sins is making a big splash in an empty pool cause you know this game is one of a kind the closest thing is a turn based game but who wants that when you can have the same love in real time eh?

If you have never done a product review it will take a couple hours for your review to show most of the time.

No problem. :)

OK guys the reviews are pretty sparse yet. You dont have to do a detailed one a simple paragraph touting the key things you like it would suffice. Hell at a bare minimum just a star rating.

Wow I'm bumming. (:( Amazon hack my review and removed all my SD.com & IC.com references and some choice sales plugs for SD. Figures. I need to do a much better rewrite anyway.

On the more positive side, Sins is now on the global Amazon "movers and shakers" list.

BTW: Thanks to whoever UL those images.

Damn only 10 reviews since yesterday. That is damn disheartening to say the least.

Surely people can't be that lazy and disinterested in developing this community into something special.

They're probably all too busy playing the game.  ;)

No promote the game - then play it. The initial buildup of a release is so very important for scale & effect in so many different areas it is not funny. I'll give you a quick example, that problem SD/IC is having with getting the game released in other markets would simply go away if Sins was suddenly ranked #1 everywhere and critically acclaimed as well as referenced in many different social spheres seemingly out of nowhere.

Things like that are probably why most, if not all of the devs have been up a very long time recently. Most people think all the hard work is during the pre release phase, when in fact it is post release where the will work begins simply because of this factor and time being the critical element.

Now I may be wrong since I have never work on a game release and if I am I hope someone from SD/IC corrects me but I have done work in the PR & product planning arenas for many years helping with lots of promotions, productions, and products and it has always been the same thing regardless of industry.
