Directory for replays:

C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR WINDOWS USER NAME HERE]\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Record-SinglePlayer

Where [YOUR WINDOWS USER NAME HERE] is whatever you call yourself when you log into windows! For me It's Astax so my path is "C:\Documents and Settings\Astax\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Record-SinglePlayer"

Also "C" is my hard drive. If your harddrive letter varies, pelase ammend that.

Where does the directory does the file go

Astax,

I bought the game through digital download and my files don't line up like yours :(

I don't have anything in the application data folder. I created the folder like you had listed but the game couldn't find it. For me the game files are under program files but I don't see a record-singleplayer folder there either!

Vader. the folders are invisible so i hope you have show hidden files turned on. Also its not application data, its \LOCAL SETTING\APPLICATION DATA. What is your windows user name? u can type this out and just hit enter in the Internet explorer bar, it should tkae you there.

I don't actually have the Record-Singleplayer folder either..
All I have is in the sins folder, one named RecordedGames and putting them in there doesn't work. Checked every other sins folder on the pc and no luck  :NOTSURE:

What OS are you using? I have 4 different folders for recorded games in that directory. Technically you can put it in any of those. But when going to view you will have to use the cycle button on the bottom of the list to get to the ones u want to watch.


Is it the same directory if you are using Vista as I can't see it....


That may be different. Need IronClad guy to tell you where you put those!

yea i had the same problem, i had to go on the game and select watch, then cycle till it said single player auto record, this created the file. but when i add replay files to this file and select watch on the game, it says invalid save file. whats the problem.

the ai's are so easy, my friend and i take on 4 hard ais vs the two of us, then it get challenging....

I took on three earlier today, it was surprisingly easy. You just have to rush them and they fold easy.

If a human player gets rushed early they panic respond and rebuild. The AI seems content to slowly rebuild with fewer resources.

earlier I played against 3 hard a.i in the same team (random hard) on a medium random map with pirates, it was easier than I thought it would be (I was already telling my friend how bad I remember the a.i was in beta and how bad it is now).

Basically until 1.03, going against 1 competent player is significantly harder than 3 hard a.i's teamed against you.
