download manager idle

In my stardock thing it says its updating my sins of a solar empire version does this mean its getting the final game? It says in the bottom left hand corner that the download manager is idle does this mean anything?

If you didn't uninstall the beta version, please do that before installing.

Sorry I didnt do that is there a way to still uninstall the beta or is it to late.

Just right-click the game in SDC and go to 'Uninstall' :)

but then i would have to unistall the actual game and re download it

You do have to re download it. The beta and the actual game are completely different files.

Its wierd it updated the beta into the final game and i can play the final game and everything. So is there even a point in unistalling the beta now?

Updating over the beta can cause strange issues. If you're able to play multiplayer matches with other people and don't get desync errors, you may be ok, but if you do encounter any issues, reinstalling should be the first thing you try to troubleshoot.
