Beam weapons targets.

Hello,

Sins looks awesome, as a huge fan of space battles and lasers, I have a question about final graphics tho.
Are there lasers in game which just burn their way through the ships / sweep around ship's surface burning it and spewing junk? In the videos Ive seen so far the lasers seem to be fixed at their target.

Devels: If its not in yet, is it possible to add/mod it?

The Advent have constant-stream beams. They don't quite "burn through" and come out on the other side, though.

They do keep fixed at a single point while they're firing. Try the Advent carrier, it has a really cool looking 4-beam broadside. I think with mods you can increase the duration so that it never stops firing, for a constant beam that never stops until the ship is destroyed.

To do what that youtube video is doing, all you have to do, really, is decrease the prebuff cooldown time, and change the duration to the way you want it. Here is an example of a modded Kol Battleship for the TEC. I have all 3 weapon slots just like this and it is really cool.
