I need a little hlep...

I tried to make a welcome screen in logonstudio, it didn't work. I got the "value creation failed '' at line 14" error. I looked up what I should do, I checked over both the uifile.txt and the theme.ini and I can't see anything wrong... however, I don't do a lot of customization and programming. I'm just wondering if someone can please take a look over it for me and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

What image type are you using?

Have you used a jpeg image, must be a bitmap. Open jpeg in a graphics app and save as a bitmap.

I'm pretty sure they're all bitmap images, I checked them over. That's why i'm so confused.

did you use an actual .bmp or something else (like .jpg) renamed to .bmp? renaming doesn't work. uifile line 14 at the one's I looked at are BMP_100 which is the center background

Cavan and Bichur are right. A line 14 error is a background, or center panel error from renaming a .jpg or .gif or some other format to .bmp.

Open the image you want to use as the center panel in Paint or some other graphics program and save it as .bmp_100 in the logon folder as a 24 bit bitmap. :)

I opened all the images in irfanview and saved them in bmp format just in case. I'm still not sure why it's not working. at this point i'm ready to delete it and start over again. it's not like it took hours to make or anything.

i think that the best option will be to paste here a screenshot of UIFILE ( around line 14 and on .. ).... it will help all to through out the error ......
