Hello,

I recently just preordered and checked out the beta, but i've already started to tinker around with ideas for modding, My question is that i know some official modding tools is supposed to come out when the final game is released but is there a link pointing to what these tools might do such as features? i did a search and didn't find to much info on the matter. thanks

A. Absolutely. Ironclad fully endorses the modding of its games for non-profit purposes. The Iron Engine is completely data-driven and is supported by the Forge Tool Suite. Modding instructions and the Forge Tool Suite will be provided.


Uhmmm not much has been said besides "the Forge Tool Suite." There will be a map editor and other things...

Map editor, model importer, and probably some other stuff will be included :D What that other stuff is, we don't know.

prety sure thers a gui based code thingy ala dow atribute editor i think

I think I heard mention of a particle system editor, as well, for making custom weapon effects, etc.
