Finally GOP wants middle class tax cuts? Ha!

What party has been cutting taxes for everyone for the last several years?

It seems that someone thinks a light bulb is going off for the GOP and that they are finally waking up to the idea of cutting taxes for the middle class.

How many ways could such a mis-understanding and/or gross depiction of actual facts be corrected?

I am not going to count the ways, but I will say that is about the dumbest statement that could be made.

Why?  Because the GOP has long been for cutting taxes for *everyone* that pays taxes.  That would include the middle-class, the upper-class and even the poor among us.

The GOP has stood for cutting taxes for those that pay the vast majority of taxes in this country, and has done their best to make sure that tax cuts that go into effect don't benefit just those at the lower end of the wealth scale.

I offer the space below for others to point out how stupid such a claim is.  I'm sure there are many other valid points out there.

I have to laugh at anyone who said that the Bush tax cut was "only for the rich".  I've never been rich, but not only did my taxes get cut, I used the $600 rebate check I got to pay off a couple of credit cards, which saved me thousands of dollars in interest.

On the other hand, the last word about "middle class tax cuts" from a Democrat was, "I worked harder than I've worked on anything in my life to get that done"... mere months after the lying scum made the promise in the first place.

He is an idiot.  But then the ones giving him his hating points (I wont even dignify it by saying talking points as hate is not talk) are idiots too.  If you only pay $1000 in taxes, you can not get more than $1000 in tax cuts!  But they see Daddy Warbucks, who pays $1,000,000,000 in taxes getting a million dollar tax cut and cry UNFAIR!  Why?  He paid a lot more, and so the dollar amount is going to be higher.

But they want Little Orphan Annie to get that $1,000,000 tax cut as well - even though she pays no where near that in taxes.  What they really want, and are too dishonest to say it - is another welfare program.  Robbing from the rich to give to the poor - and in this case with no stated need for the robbing.

What they want is someone to justify their bigotry.
