Uninstalling AlienGUIse causing problems on Vista

Hi, first of all, im not sure if this is the right place to post this but if you could help me out with this issue that would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded AlienGUIse which is Obj Desktop etc using the Alienware theme. I am running windows vista. i didnt use this software just installed it. but now when i try to uninstall it, i always get icons that become totally messed up, either showing wrong icon pictures or black squares.

if someone can help me fix this problem or uninstall it safely, id appreciate that.

thank you

The AlienGUIse theme was released a few years ago and is not Vista compatible. Which icons in particular are not displayed properly for you after uninstalling?

I am having the same problems. I had alienguise on my xp laptop and downloaded it for my new laptop with Vista. I tried to run one of the skins and i had to resume the system from like 2 months ago losing much appreciated work.

I am now currently trying to unistall it but its almost as if the code for the uninstall can not be read by the vista uninstall software.

Any ideas?
