Does anyone know a good tutorial for making a "forums" module for a website

i'm trying to make one for my mod's wesite

does anybody know a good tutorial for making an online forum module? i've been trying to make one for the website of my new mod, "The Bringers of Light" (you can visit the site here WWW Link)

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not on geocities, no. You'd need a "real" host with scripting and database support (read: not free). Otherwise you'd just have to use a free prebuilt forum site separate from your actual website. A quick google search for free forums will turn up several of those, but obviously you'll be more limited than you would with your own.

I think most forum homepages provide links to sites that will support their software, too. And most such sites are fairly inexpensive.

phpBB might be worth checking out.
