Sounds like you have not set up the receiving bar and have it set so that its at its max response. Try going into the Wii's set up and adjusting the bar a bit. I have had a Wii since they first came out and after setting up the response i have never had an issue with it. BTW Mario and Sonic Olympics is a fantastic game to play with friends :D

Eh, golf doesn't use the bar IIRC, only the accelerometers. So it's more likely just a matter of not holding/swinging it right.

Check your sensitivity, make sure your holding it right, the 'sensor bar' is only used for pointing at stuff(the sensor bar is really just two L.E.D. lights, the remote dose everything ;) ). and, like the old saying goes, practice makes perfect. If you get one(or already have one) it's only a matter of time before you get more adjusted to it then you shouldn't have any problems. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is great, I broke the javiline world record twice!

Besides what everyone else said, all I can add is that like every controller ever concieved, you just need to get used to it.

Just got it for christmas. pretty neat, although if you ask me, they need to put out more games for it.

Got it last year and haven't played it much. My son didn't like the controller and it was hard to justify playing it when we could just play XBox together. Got Mario Galaxy and we're both into it. Great game!

there do need to be more games but most developers go AAAHHHH!!! ORIGINALITY and go hide and some multi-platformers Nintendo can see that the control scheme for that game just sucks. some also live with the myths that nintendo is a kiddy company or the Wii is incapable, but thats not actually true so more should be coming

Looking forward to using the Wii controller as a lightsaber in Force Unleashed. May not have the graphics of the XBOX 360 or PS3, but I think the gameplay mechanics will be fun on the Wii. Unfortunately, no PC version is forthcoming.

Oh, c'mon. It is a kiddy-company. Everything post-SNES have been cuddly, mushy and pink, with bright neon colors everywhere.

That being said, I want to point out that I'm not a "racist" when it comes to different consoles. I hate all consoles equally, and they will all perish in the PC-perpetuated Lollercaust; the end of all childhood! Mwaahaahahahaha!

No problems with the controls here, either.

There's a bunch of great games for the Wii, especially if you have a wide range of game appreciation (and if you just got one). I just got through with Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and I'm now plowing through Radiant Dawn. I haven't even gotten to the sport and fighting games, not to mention the FPSs like Metroid 3: Corruption.

There's a bunch of nice games coming up this year as well.

What bothers me is that practically no company is using the Wiimote as a simple mouse control interface - it's there! You can play Civ and GalCiv type games on a console now, why isn't anyone offering up the option?
