Make XP look like Xp media center or Black. Free without using third party programs

I was looking around on the internet when I came across this article :http://www.istartedsomething.com/20061029/royale-noir/ It adds 2 more colors to your boring XP themes. Black and the media center Blue. All you have to do is extract the files to your themes directory of you XP copy. It works because the theme were created by Microsoft and they have signatures. The black was created but never used. (probably because it aint to atactive) well there you go I hope you enjoy it.

Not sure why most folks need this. There's a pretty big library here of very nice WindowBlinds that most would agree are much better.  :(

Once you're spoiled by WB6 skins there's no going back.

As W3bbo pointed out, there are quite definitely issues with this theme due to its incompleteness. The most obvious being, the “Start” button’s hover and active states are unchanged from Royale, inconsistent with the purple tint surrounding. However, there is even a color scheme for Office 2003 so it will not default to the blue Luna colors.

Deal breaker if there ever was one

Of course you can do what you want and thanks for pointing this out.
But a more complete, equally resouce intensive, more options, option exists for those that think it's worth the effort.

To each their own.  :)
