HELP! I think I reallymessed up my computer.....

I tried installing a logon screen....

Hi,

so I am a basic computer user who tried to install a logon screen. Everything was going fine until the program asked a some yes or no question (sorry I can't remember). So I click "OK" and then now it won't let me get to the welcome screen without inputting a password for he main user on the computer (which don't remember setting a password for). I tired putting in "administrator" for the name portion and leaving it blank in the pasword sec. but still nothing. Is all lost?

Help is MUCH appreciated.

Ultimate Boot CD has a program to reset passwords.

Google it.

Boxxer: I've used OPHCrack live CD to recover passwords. It works pretty fast too.

Ophcrack LiveCD 1.2.1 - 2007-08-02

The ophcrack LiveCD contains a small linux system (SLAX6), ophcrack for linux and rainbow tables for alphanumerical passwords.

The liveCD cracks passwords automatically, no installation necessary, no admin password necessary (as long as you can boot from CD).

Windows Vista SAM can also be cracked.
