You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

Yes, there is cap. Usually the range of a ship is shown as circle, but adding too much support will make a square out of it. I´ve always asked myself why this is so - why should the straight lines be caped and the diagonal ones not?

@Maiden:  Ah yes, the infamous Harborne.  He was banned from the MV for cheating, by generating numerous fake accounts and the 3 characters that go with an account.  He really had a bug up his a$$ about the Kzinti. ;)

Oh yes! Maiden is just ratcheting up victories one after the other. I wonder what he will do once he gets his new rig!

actually from *work* - last 2 years just had 2 days off, so I could do 3 months now in a row [*IF* my boss would find a suitable replacement for that time.....]

but I guess a week will just be fine for all the software re-install + casemoddings...

and by then I hope they'll get the MV fixed so I am able to create a new character, or, at least, set back #2, because #1 Agt. Smith's games hardly contribute any points anymore.....

Dethadder had metnioned in a different post that he didn't know that I still stop by now and then (I do); mostly its to see if there's any pressing questions that I can answer for someone, or any news on the GC front (ie Brad's dev post).  Still waiting for that day in the future where KP and I can create the Klingon Empire in GC3 :grin:

I think it's Terran Alliance specific, it's after hyperwarp on the terran tree. That's if my memory serves me correctly.

    It is a Warp Engine use by Terran in TA  but I trade for it when I take over thier planets in the game.

   On my post I have a 8 engine Survey Ship picture. I like to park next to 16 Military Base Arrays for a turn then see how far goes on the map on the next turn.

   I see stardock the space gnomes fix the avatars and now have my pictures back. Good Job you little guys. :thumbsup:

   Is anybody esle having Germlins Out Of Memory problems. It seems that a saved game is not the same after a patch updated it.

I wouldn't update the application during a game. There are alot of posts here around from people who exactly did that and couldn't get that savegame to play again....

BTW yesterday I ran over post here about a sensor-range cap, 15 or 16 parsecs is max possible FYI
