Snow

white and pure
silencing all-
the birds, their calls
hushed.
Each flake
exquisite,
unique
Tasty to teeny tongues
Deathly, dangerous, devious
on state-route sixty-six.
Snow
muffles the screams
downtown
the pouring blood
now a trickle
its cold
slows hearts
"Snow, snow,
I love it so!"

White and pure,
silencing all.

Not bad.  Reminds me of Al's style...very abrupt lines.

I'm trying to mature my writing a bit.
All my work seems young and stupid now that I look back on it...

Fun thing about writing is that it grows like anything else.  It develops its own form and sense of style.
