Bootskin Turns Red on Bootup

I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this problem. For about 1 sec the color is fine but then it quickly changes to all red fades. Please help me. Thanks for your time.

do you have made it or is it a bootkin you have downloaded (if it's that could you give us a link?)

You might have the wrong version installed. There are 3 to choose from, you can find them here https://www.stardock.com/products/bootskin/downloads.asp

I'm afraid it's just trial and error to find out which 1 is right for you, it's somthing to do with the Bio's on your computer, Hope this helped

I think Stu is right, Check that the color pallet for the progress bar matches the art Bmp.

Try everything everyone said ie switching your boots and try all three downloads. Technically we don't support bootskin anymore but once you have tried all of those give us a shout at [email protected]. We will do what we can.

I'm guessing that if it's the only one failing this way . . it's a bad bootskin.

Steps to resolve:
  1. Procure a newspaper
  2. Extract section D
  3. Roll section D up in a tube
  4. Hit the bootskin while yelling at the top of your lungs "BAD BOOTSKIN"
  5. Reboot and repeat as needed.
