Just for the record, so that you guys know.

I tried to cancel my MySpace account today because I could not change my email contact information. Why? Because MySpace will only let you do it by sending a verification email TO YOUR OLD EMAIL ADDRESS. The problem is, my old email address was stolen, and gmail has done nothing to help me recover it.

OK, so I try to contact MySpace about the issue. They sent the email to the old email address, once again. So I try to cancel, and they AGAIN send a confirmation email to the old address. So I cannot cancel it, yet I cannot use it because personal emails cannot be sent to me.

Just thought I'd let you all know. I'll look into setting up a facebook account and talk to y'all THAT way. Because of this experience, I'm done with MySpace!

I only used my myspace accoutn to keep an eye on my kids.  It was amazing to me how many underage drinkers post pics of themselves with booze.  And these are tomorrow's voters.  -sigh-

I'll stick with facebook, thanks.
