No Trick or Treatin' for me Tonight

My kids went own on their own...sort of...without me anyway! They are safe, not to worry. My daughter went with her friends to the Sunday School they all attend to trick or treat car style....I think Tova or Life Happens mentioned that?! They aren't the only ones doing that this year it seems!

My son went with his friends, I let him with a bit of trepidation but realise that he's 13 after all, not a baby anymore, and this will probably be his last year to trick or treat! So, one last hey day, why not?!

I already went with my daughter twice already any way, and once with my son who joined us. And that was a tiring day! I remember last year's Trick or Treatin', we walked for two hours and it was tiresome! I was actually looking forward to it again because that was going to be my work out for the day! Aw well, I'll go to the gym tomorrow and I'm going to have to!LOL!

Hmmm, my son is home with a bag full! Yummy M&M peanuts and Mounds..scrumptious coco-nutty goodness!

I left out tonight for my nightly walk and, wow! I had forgotten there for a moment it was Halloween! The usually quiet side walks were packed with all kinds of little hobgoblins! Needless to say I got scared and hurried on home!

There are two milestones in a young trick or treater's life.  The first time they get to trick or treat with friends instead of parents, and the last Halloween they will trick or treat.

Not if he is in my neighborhood.  After the little ones are finished, the older ones (they looked 14-16) went around to help the neighborhood's diet plans - Give them the rest so you dont eat it.

Yeah right!! I confiscated a lot, enough to fill a large cookie jar to overflowing and they still had more!! I hid it. Amanda was bouncing off the walls by the time it was bed time!

I had less than 25 trick or treaters come a knockin'. I saw some pretty cute costumes, though. I had a lot of chocolate left...I shared some, and am still eating some.

Hope your kids had a wonderful time.
