Do a google search for xp animated wallpaper and you'll get results you can try.  I never had very much luck running anything that didn't suck or kill my resources.

The new features in Vista make running .dreams possible without affecting your desktop or severely impacting performance.  You really aren't going to find an exact solution for XP.
