do not expect folks from other countries to be an American patriot. But we disagree about if he hates America or not, When I see him write things like he expects us to turn tail and lose the war in Iraq and enjoy the thought, that is crossing the line....FOR ME! not for you.
I did not meant that I "expect" America to being beaten in Iraq in the meaning that that is what I want - or bet on - it to happen.
I simply meant that I simply do not see how you can win on the long run. Not meaning as "your country is weak" or anything like this, but that military victory in the way you are expecting it is - I think - unatainable.
And I hope I did not meant anything that "Canadian's way is better" (maybe it sounded like this, I know). Canada has it shares of problem - health care being simply a symptom rather than the problem, for whatever Danielost is saying -, but no one really is interested talking about it here. Hell, no one is interested in talking of Canadian/American common politics here (I tried a few times to start topics about it).
So it leaves me commenting on the U.S.A.'s influence upon the world, since it is mainly everything people is talking about here.
And it does is bring a foreign point of view. And from Canada, which is about one of your greatest ally in the past century, I think our opinion would be rather relevant - as far as a foreign opinion would be relevant -.
