SO, DO WE VOTE FOR KERRY OR BUSH?

SO, DO WE VOTE FOR KERRY OR BUSH?

Here's A Good Way To Decide

Forget all the events that are happening and look at who supports each candidate. No one man can control world events. But they can be good examples of how decent human beings should be. And Bush is by far the better person than Kerry. Kerry coddles all the evil behavior of bad people. Kerry and the democrats are enablers of vice ridden people. He does that just to get their grubby little votes. He tells everyone exactly what they want to hear, no matter how deplorable. He gives them what they want even if it is detrimental to the person. The democrats have no morals whatsoever.

KERRY SUPPORTERS…The immoral Hollywood crowd, pornographers, perverts, communists, terrorists, fagots, drug dealers, drug users, welfare trash, abortionists, women who kill their own babies, slobs who don't work, whiners, morons, people who abandon their children, criminals, liberals, God haters, Michael Moore supporters, anti-American foreigners and convicts.

BUSH SUPPORTERS…Moral people, good Christians, hardworking people, ethical people, inventors, tax payers, honest business men, patriots and all honest people.

IT IS REALLY A CASE OF GOOD VS EVIL.

IF YOU WANT TO ABANDON ALL PAST MORAL STANDARDS THEN VOTE FOR KERRY. BUT IF YOU HAVE REGARD FOR LIFE, MARRIAGE, FAMILY, LAWFUL BEHAVIOR, ORDER AND LEARNING IN THE SCHOOLS, SELF RESPONSIBILITY THEN VOTE FOR BUSH.

Dear Marvin Cooley,

Thanks for your oversimplified black and white view of two party politics.

I guess that automatically means if you just happen to feel that Bush hasn't been doing a good job you're un-american and immoral. I've heard about enough of this bullshit from all over. Also....order and learning in the schools??? are you kidding me?? self responsiblity??? your talking about a president that got like a 960 on his SAT and showed up drunk to his Yale interview and still got in because of his daddy. He hasn't taken responsibility for anything he's done for this whole life, what a great example for the country to follow. The argument that you're and an immoral scumbag if you don't vote for Bush is total horse shit regardless of how you look at it. The idea that there is ONE totally righteous group of people that we should trust and rely on to run the country and protect the family, marriage blah blah blah is such crap. Finally, when you mentioned Bush supporters as being good Christians, I think you really got something there... since when did America, the most ethnically and religiously diverse nation in the world require you to be Christian to be "moral" or "righteous" ? In case you didn't realize theres alot more that just Christians in the United States. You know who I'm voting for??? Whoever the fuck I want, thats how an allegedly FREE country works....the United States USED to be one, once upon a time.

I like Bush more than Kerry, but Kerry isn't the ultimate existence of evil, and Bush isn't the soldier of light.

if i were you, id copyright that asap and start printing stickers and t-shirts. (its so astute, ill even forego my usual fee for that advice)

you may have come up with a message (possibly the only one) with which everyone in america can identify and agree.

Have you ever heard of the word bias?

Off subject slightly, but I heard something that was so true I had to share it because I was laughing so hard:

"I used to think the universe should be fair, and then it occured to me what an aweful thing it would be if everyone truely deserved the horrible things that happened to them, so now I rejoice in the unfairness of it all."

A post like this simply shows Marvin Cooley's ignorance on Mr. Kerry and the United States of America. It is ignorance like this that has resulted in hatred toward this country, and helped to increase terrorism against the American people.

Now, I will examine each of the statements in the original post:

Statement: And Bush is by far the better person than Kerry.
Response: Why is Bush a better person than Kerry? During the 2000 election, Mr. Bush said that he was a reborn Christian and that he was actively reading the bible. Yet, when questioned by a reporter as to what he last read, he could not respond. Lying about reading the bible does not make a better person. Some may even argue that lying about weapons of mass destruction to go to war with Iraq in which almost 1000 Americans have died and many 1000 Iraqi's, including women and children. A pre-emptive strike against an unarmed country does not make Mr. Bush a better person than Mr. Kerry.

Statement: Kerry coddles all the evil behavior of bad people. Kerry and the democrats are enablers of vice ridden people. He does that just to get their grubby little votes. He tells everyone exactly what they want to hear, no matter how deplorable. He gives them what they want even if it is detrimental to the person. The democrats have no morals whatsoever.
Response: Many people of faith support Mr. Kerry. John Kerry himself is a Catholic and a war hero. Good hardworking, Americans who pay their fair share of taxes support John Kerry. I know, because I am one of them. Cooley's generalization about Democrats shows ignorance. A large group of people can not be grouped and generalized. His statement is similar to saying that all Muslims are terrorists. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised to read a similar statement by Cooley.

So, you don't think that Mr. Bush does everything he can to get votes? Hmmm. Are we in Iraq because of WMD? Or, because of an evil dictator? Or, an immediate threat? Or maybe to liberate the Iraqi people? It seems like that story keeps changing to get votes. I hope most Americans can see through the smoke screen and realize that this country needs a change.

Statement: KERRY SUPPORTERS…The immoral Hollywood crowd, pornographers, perverts, communists, terrorists, fagots, drug dealers, drug users, welfare trash, abortionists, women who kill their own babies, slobs who don't work, whiners, morons, people who abandon their children, criminals, liberals, God haters, Michael Moore supporters, anti-American foreigners and convicts.
Response: This generalization and bigotry does not deserve a reponse. Anyone can hate, but not anyone can change the world for the better.

Statement: BUSH SUPPORTERS…Moral people, good Christians, hardworking people, ethical people, inventors, tax payers, honest business men, patriots and all honest people.
Response: Who do you consider moral people? Karl Rove? A man who smeared a great American, John McCain, in the 2000 primary with lies. Or, maybe Dick Cheney, the target of criminal investigations. Or, maybe Rumsfeld, a man who took full responsibility of brutal prisoner abuse, but faces no consequences. What about Ken Lay, the man who cheated hard working Enron employee's from their pension and retirement? Or, maybe one of many billionaires who reaped benefits from the tax cuts that people like you and me are paying for... Think about it, the government needs so much money for basic expenses (road construction, police, fire, etc) and it has to come from somewhere. If the richest American's no longer pay in as much, who has to pay? You got it -- the not so rich Americans (i.e., the working lower, middle, and upper middle class).

It is so easy for a simple minded right winger to throw out unfounded opinions and slander. However, after spending only a few minutes analyzing the ignorant statements, anyone can see that Marvin Cooley has no foundation except hatred for his comments.

I personally think Bush needs to be kicked out of office for three reasons: 1) His abuse of power when attacking Iraq and not focusing on Bin Laden, Saudi Arabia, and Afganistan; 2) His abuse of civil liberties; and 3) His tax cuts for the richest Americans which put a higher burden on the majority of us. My family saw nothing in tax cuts and we paid in our fair share (upper middle class).

So, I urge you to research any of my responses. Know your candidates and be aware that your vote will make a difference. Do you really feel that this country is heading in the right direction? Please, do your research and don't listen to the right-wing slander. Can you really believe that it is 2004 and we are have another war with Iraq when another Bush is president? Who is next? Jeb?

Thanks for reading.

I wonder if Martin is serious, or is doing satire. It seems too satirical to be true. Can he really believe in party-based stereotypes?

Listing Republicans as all honest seems oxymoronic. Honest politicians? Since when? They ALL speak out their asses, no matter what party they are affiliated with.

Its a tough call, Im not sure. Bush wants to allow illegal immigrats legal staus and want s to get rid of Overtime. Kerry Wants same sex marriage, abortions to be fully legal, Kerry dont know much about him but looks sneaky.

I don't know much about politics so I guess when I'm hiding behind the curtain at voting time, I'm going to relax, close my eyes, and point my finger to the ballot. Whoever I happen to point to, I will vote for...........unless my finger points to Bush, I'll have to reconsider and try again.
