making first attempt

ok.. here goes, starting on my first ever attempt at skinning anything. maybe I'm being too ambitious, but, according to my 14 year old son:"you can never have too many scantily-clad women on your desktop"

now just have to decide how I want the rest of the wb to look.

well...actualy this is the second attempt.. the first I really didn't like, but it sparked the concept.

I wanted the girl to face away when the window was not the focus item and towards you when it was. I've scratched this one and am starting over and with a different girl this time.

Thanks for the encourgment, I've been combing the wb's available here and haven't seen anything like what my son is after me to put together, so I hope it turns out ok.

Thinking about what Zubaz said, I went back and did this one. Steven walked by while I was working on the girl in poser and said he liked this one better so this now is the final version of the start menu and everything else will be designed around it.

ok.. I have a whole new respect for you guys now... chopping the psd file up and getting the contents to look right was a PITA.

so here is the start menu. still have to move the user name over and then set the user icon to load inside the frame I made on the top bar.

whew... didn't realize how much time would be involved in this.

BUT... its is fun
