all of this tells me that torture is subjective. like what smells bad or tastes bad.

This so called water boarding has been around a long time, I remember a form of it applied to our own troops, by our own troops all the way back in 1964. Am I to take it I was being tortured by our own troops and I was a willing participant?


This is used in Navy Seal Training as well as the Marines.

Being these groups are the first line in they are more at risk of being caught. Alot of that was to give you some experience so it didn't catch you off guard.

Torture? Here's another sombering look at it---We've tortured 50 million and counting in this country.....


What about saline scalding, and surgical dismemberment or in late term--puncturing the base of the skull and vacuum suctioning their brains?


oh no, this is sanctioned by the left and approved by the SCOTUS therefore it is not torture.... yeh right!

Well, you're a bad example, but really, it leaves no permanent damage on MOST people.

Well, you're a bad example, but really, it leaves no permanent damage on MOST people.


What really left serious damage was finding out how divided the nation was over the war and how politicians were using it as talking points, how the citizens of the country {around 50% or so} hated us for defending the country, how we were treated when we got home. I would have traded that for water boarding any day.

Stretching skin is torture at least for someone who has to loook at it.

Imagine having to listen to colgene for hours and hours on end ranting on the same subject for months at the time over and over, now that would be torture.
