Logonstudio disables Aero?

I'm not entirely sure if logonstudio is the problem, but apparently after changing it, deciding to revert to the standard Vista logon screen I encounter a 8-10 second delay whenever I log on/off. A peak into the event log shows :
"The Desktop Window Manager was unable to start because a composited theme is not in use."
appearing each time I log in/off. Also after logging in, the preview in alt-tab does not show the "preview" window as it should, like when you have just enabled Aero and it has not cached all the windows yet. Thus I believe that somehow Vista is being forced into the basic theme for the logon screen. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
