Asking them to pick a candidate that is of a religion that is a polar opposite of Christainity
since "Christianity" can be interpreted in many ways.. I always found it quite odd that people may describe someone as "the opposite of Christianity", or "The opposite of moral values", since whatever you are trying to describe with those words are usually YOUR moral values (or those that have been shoved into your throat while you were a kid).
Someone can beleive that abortion is moral. Or that it should not be made illegal. Or that in specific circumstance, if should be allowed - even encouraged -. The morale side of the question depends on the person talking, so don't say that peoples should be "on the side of values".
n my opinion, McCain spoke his mind willing and without remorse when he attacked two of the Christian faith's leaders. Therefore, McCain has no one to blame but himself for Christian not wanting to vote for him.
Preposperous. So, it's impossible for leader of a faith to be wrong? They are always right, and should never be challenged? Want a theocracy with you fries, miss?
Moreover, I have stated before that for me abortion is murder and anyone who facilitates it is a murderer. For this reason I cannot see how true Christians can consider voting for a person, who thinks a woman should have the right to choose to murder an unborn child.
? Define a "true" christian? Those who agree with you, period? You have total monopoly on the christian's values & choices? Christians can change opinions on some values, and they are FAR from being right about anything.
Any political group that want to teach myths and legends over science as actual fact do not hold the "Truth" in my book.
Rommey is in no way a Christian. I have made my case in other essays on this blog. In addition, not only is Rommey not a Christian his faith is in direct opposition to the true Christian faith. Where in the King James Bible does is say the Christ is the brother of the devil? Mormoms believe Christ is the brother of the devil.
Mormons are christians, just a different sect. Deal with it. They beleive in different things than you, and your declaration simply underline that you believe that only "you" is the right faith, which doesn't make you any better than any muslim in Indonesia - who deny political rights to people on the basis on non-muslimhood -.
So.. because someone is not "your" kind of christianity, he should not be allowed to be in office?
