How the radical left thinks

And how they behave in debate

For a fascinating series of examples of how really REALLY far-left debaters think and behave, especially when confronted with alternative points of view, check out the comments in this article:

It is extremely interesting to read how they think but also how intolerant many of them are to opposing points of view.

Giving a little too much credit here?

You know, the farther left or right you go you often end up in the same place...crazy town.

Being more towards the middle allows you to keep some sanity.

have you ever noticed that the far left whatever never deny the charges against them.

they just accuse everyone else as being the same as them.

hmmm it seems their basic argument is "The government is evil. Let's it give more of someone else's money (just not mine)."

Uh huh, that really makes a lot of sense.

As for the personal insults and attacks, that's pretty typical of the extreme left. It's pretty much all you have left to use when you lack any sort of reasoned argument.

It looks like they're a bunch of wanna be socialists who don't even understand the concept they claim to promote.

Oh, I forgot to mention how much I laughed when they suggested, more than once, that someone was actually paying you to post there. They really take themselves far too seriously. Like anyone would care enough about that bunch of loons to actually pay someone to post on their pathetic little site.

Envy seems to be a driving motivation for some of the people on that site.

It's easier to blame "the system" than themselves for their disappointments in life.

Wow.

That was sad.

I think a lot of those people have TV villains and real-life business-owners mixed up.

They're definitely out of touch with reality.

Oh, by the way Brad, you've made enough money so just start sending it to me from now on. OK?

What kills me is that people dismiss a $55,000/year salary as being inadequate!

I could do a LOT with that kind of money. Fortunately, I'm not that far from earning it.

$55k per year is inadequate now? Awesome! I'll go tell my boss he's paying me inadequately.

The really scary thing is how the "radical" left is actually more mainstream and has a firm grip on the democrats.

You keep rolling in those bucks, Brad, and don't send a cent to me (Not that you would). I see it as an indication that the system is alive and well.

Reminded of the premise of my favorite book of all time - what would happen if the people that can actually "do" something were to suddenly up and disappear? If they found some remote place on the planet to be and formed their own little competency town where no one could find them and loot them? Answer: The rest of the world would either learn to be competent themselves or they'd fold up completely. Likely the latter. I'd actually LOVE to see that happen.

I just went out and bought GalCiv2, Gold Edition, at Circuit City, just because I think you should have more money (and I had a gift card). So, hope you see some of it!

You actually said, in a nutshell, why I'm against welfare. I believe that people NEED to find the resources on their own, and that they can, if the government would just stop enabling them in their dependency. But then they'd have to earn their votes the HARD way.

Well, I installed it last night, but I still haven't had any time to play it. Oh well. I may never, with the kids, heh. But it's still worth it to have it in my Stardock collection.

The voters see this... "Hey, stuff for free!" and vote for that guy. Therefore, any democracy will eventually turn into a communist state, because the people with the money only have one vote.

Thanks for the tip, but Waco would be a major haul. If I can't get it in Amarillo, I may order it online. I'll need a few games to have FUN with the laptop I'll soon be getting (I'll be using it mainly for work, so a few R&R apps would be nice!)

I think I know who the blue fairy is.  But regardless, I would wonder how you kept up the stamina going on with them when their only recourse is to insult you and restate their opinions.

I will hand it to the site - at least they keep it at somewhat of a civil level.  But I wil never be able to understand the disconnect these people have with reality.  If they applied what they are stating to their every day lives, they would quickly learn how foolish and stupid they are.  You dont have to make $100,000,00 a year to understand the basic economic principals that they are totally ignoring.

Ask them how much they would be willing to pay for the same work or what luxury they would do without so that someone can be paid 55,000 a year.
