It's a......BOY!!!!
We just had our ultrasound earlier this week. It was amazing! The baby was so active, and we got some great photos of him! We even got one of him sucking his thumb
He is so cute, I can't wait for his arrival. Seeing him in the ultrasound made me want to be able to hold him! I know, he will come soon enough. The most important thing is that the technician said he looked very healthy! We really wrestled with our decision to find out the sex, because our initial plan was to wait and keep it a surprise, but we were just so anxious to find out! I really think that knowing the sex it going to be helpful with planning, and know we know he is a boy I feel like I can picture him better now that I am feeling him move and thinking of him more and more.
Other good news...last night we actually saw and felt him move in my belly! It was great, because I have been feeling him for a few weeks now, but I was so eager for my husband to be able to experience it as well. I was lying down on the couch, and my husband was reading a story to my belly (they say it helps the baby get to know your voices ) and we started seeing a little jump in my stomach where I felt the baby move! He could also feel it by putting his hand on my stomach. It's funny, I think the baby really likes being read to, as he always gets active when my husband starts talking into my belly! So now that we know, the next challenge will be on how to not go crazy with shopping for the little guy!!
