I have had over 181,000 video views, which is a good start. I am up to over 1000 a day.

Maybe just maybe a few of those have a better idea of what is really going on in Iraq and AFghanistan from watching one of these.

Sad but true ID. Sad but true.. although recently I saw a few almost positive comments by two reporters, but they caught themselves before it could be considered real positive.

One pro-military video worth posting would be a segment from tonight's ABC nightly news. They mentioned which presidential candidate received the most campaign contributions from military personnel.

Give up on which candidate it is?

His name is Ron Paul.

Maybe the fine men and women of our military support the candidate who won't use them as cannon fodder for corporate profits and the expansion of the hegemonic US empire.

Just a thought...

Obama has gotten 44 contributions worth about $27,000 and Paul 23 for about $19,300. Republican John McCain, an Iraq war supporter and Vietnam prisoner of war, was third with about $18,500 from 32 donors. This is from the sources used by ABC.

So actually McCain has gotten more soldiers to donate (although less money) to him than Paul and he's pro war. Hmmm

Ahh thats only 99 soldiers. Not a very convincing number to base your statements on is it. Thats out of more than 1.5 MILLION soldiers.

My apologies. I should have been more clear - thanks for pointing that out.

Ron Paul has received the most campaign cash from military personnel among Republican candidates.

Is it convincing? I don't know what that question means. But either way, the numbers speak for themselves. Those who donate to politicians seem to favor those opposed to extending the war in Iraq. (Not that Obama will actually end it, or not escalate the war into Iran, but that is how he presents himself to the general public.)

I'm just saying that there does seem to be some amount of support for Ron Paul's foreign policy ideas. To what degree I have no idea, as the military people I know are relatively apolitical or tight-lipped about their ideas.
