CursorXP Plus closes programs if moused over!?

I've recently gotten CursorXP Plus. It's amazing! My only problem is that certain programs, my main problem being Notepad, are always without fail closed with no warning or explanation afterwards. The only trigger for this is if I move my mouse over it. I'm guessing that something about the typing cursor is messed up. Firefox stays up, watching movies is fine. I can even listen to music, play games, whatever. My only concern about this is that I use Notepad on a regular basis since it is an awesome lightweight text editor to use on the spot for anything.

been using CXP+ for a couple of years, use notepad a lot... haven't had that issue

been using cursor xp for a long long time and never had the problem you are describing, but a silly question you wouldn't happen to be using a laptop computer trackpad, with tapping enabled?
this may be the cause, but seeing as it doesn't happen with any other programs it probably isn't but it may be worth looking at good luck
