A simple DX object that lists system stats

my problem, , uer info allways shows up my registered name not ser loged in, and my name causes overrights

For some reason even though my user acount name is digicatz All DX plugins I try try to put my first name and last name, and invariably overwrite something or text goes outside the object.

Second, I wnt straight text, with font and color choice ,  I would like a series of these, Date/time

Full system stats, uptime, net address, ect. All so it looks like part of thed wall paper but s live. Maybe with the option of expanding and rising to the foreground when moused over.  And a command prompt window in the same style, no box, no frame.  It would loo so cool.  My res is 1920x1200.

my handle -> digital (cut me and I blead little 1's and 0's ) cat (I am a cat person, or if you wish a cat traped in a human suit z (my first pda (realy mini computer) was a zaurus 5500)  used to be digicatz55 until I realised people might take 55 to be age.

Please someone do this or tell me how to. Also I keep getting an error about User Account Control activated. I am in XP , cant find refrence to User Account Control. Also gald to see XP support, still as I don't plan to get vista

digicatz,

There are a number of DX objects that do what you ask.  I suggest that you download a few and start looking at how they are put together.  The documentation for DX is pretty good and the coders that hang out here are more than happy to help someone who's trying to build their own objects.

Post the URL to the gadget or object you are trying to modify to your tastes.  Ask questions if you get stuck.  Include screenshots of code snippits if you think it might help.
