windows vista glitch

hey
i just baught a new pc with windows vista . however after a few minutes of use, the task bar glitches up and i have to resort to restarting the pc. how do i fix this problem?

if your pc came along with a pre-installed OEM vista, then in all probability, you have crapware installed installed on it; ie unwanted software/trialware. use PC deCrapifier to remove all such craplets. also remove all unwanted startup programs using Run > msconfig. follow it up with with a good registry clean-up using freeware like CCleaner.Also see if this thread "WWW Link" helps you.

I wouldn't spend the time trying to fix it. Take it back to the shop and tell them you want another or a refund.
