Stardock MyColors - Syracuse University Theme

Dialog button text missing when WindowBlinds skin is applied

I just purchased the Syracuse University theme from Stardock's MyColors store. I love the theme, but it has one big problem that makes it difficult to use: The buttons on most dialog boxes do not display text labels. Usually I'll see the text label on one button (not always the one "in focus") and on any greyed-out buttons, but not on any of the other buttons. The other buttons appear as plain orange and then plain blue on mouse-over. As I drag the mouse off the buttons, I can see the text label flash briefly, but for less than a second. Obviously this is not very functional!

I am running Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2 (fully patched and up-to-date). I have reset the desktop theme to the default Windows XP theme (Luna/Bliss) and rebooted with only my standard desktop apps running:

AVG Free
Windows Defender
Palm HotSync Manager
WindowFx

I then reapplied the Syracuse University theme using the MyColors theme manager and still have the above problem.

I love the theme and would like to continue using it, but unless this problem can be fixed, I'm afraid I'll have to ask for a refund. Any suggestions?

I'm an avid skins user and Object Desktop subscriber, so I am used to some idiosyncracies among skins. But this is the first time I've experienced such a basic flaw...and on a PAID skin, no less!
