On Voting, counting votes, etc.: Dems vs. Florida

What is it with Dems and their fascination with Florida?

Florida, the site of the every vote counts, count every vote (even if they were legally cast for Pat Buchanan) fight back in the year 2000 is back in the news with their latest fight over the choice -- made by the state legislature and state Governor -- to hold their state primaries earlier than Democrats on the National stage approve of.

See news article here: Democrats strip Florida of primary delegates

Please, correct me if I am wrong here, but again, wasn't Florida the site of much Democrat screaming back in the year 2000?  Wasn't there a big fuss made about making sure that every vote that was cast and could be discerned and divined (for voter intention) would be counted?  I thought that was the case, but maybe I missed a memo or something like that.

If that really was the case, then please follow just a bit more and explain to me how the DNC promises of stripping Florida of their convention delegates really meets those goals of just a few years ago??

Oh, yeah, sorry, I forgot it's not really about counting votes, it's about counting the Democrat votes that you (the DNC) *want* to count, that were cast in the proper order with the proper amount of pandering done for other states first.

Admittedly, this is really all about the fact that the primary dates were changed by those evil Republicans down in Florida.  *They* did this to Florida, not the DNC (which voted to disregard Florida's delegation if they don't change the date of their primary...)

And people wonder why Democrat shennanigans get me bent out of shape (as opposed to me getting to see the vast majority of Democrats get bent as they should!)?
