SpaceTime Beta 0.9

PC Magazine.com has a review of yes, another browser. Just what everyone wants to read. This one though looks somewhat interesting as it is 3D. It appears to be alot different most of the browers that we use. I put in two links, one to the review and one to the web site.

Yes it's beta, but did I mention it's free! No I haven't downloaded it, waiting for one of you do do that!

Lets see some comments.

Interesting but seems pointless to me? ( The browser, not your post. )

It may just be my computer..it's only got 512MB and a GForce5500 video card. It was slow as far as the internet site stuff goes, but I thought it was great for the image searches. I thought it was fun. It locked up for a sec or three when I tried to search YouTube, but then was fine. I guess that's why it's a beta.

I would love to have something like that ran on my desktop as a program or have it work with WC or DA or any site that had images you could search.

I'll keep it and see where they go with it and how they improve on it. It's very basic right now, but that makes it easy for dopes like me to work with it.

For everyday use going from site to site and all, it's not so practical right now.

Thanks for the info Po', I think I may download it and give it a try also. Since it's still beta they may be interested in people providing some feed back. At any rate it won't cost anything to try it out.

I think you'll find it fun to mess with. I'm curious to see how far they go with it. It has some great potential. I like it much better than the 'sphere desktop'.

Well, I downloaded SpaceTime Beta 0.9 and I have to say it a very interesting browser. You are limited to only a few search engines, which is okay.

You do get caught up with the 3D aspect of how it shows the pages you search. I have to say I only just touch the surface of some of its functions.

Would really be interested to see what other people think about this software.

Bummer Jafo.

Since you went to the web site, what was your impression of the software? Yeah I know it would of been much better if were able to use it.
