Ok, what have I done?

I have not upgraded to Vista, but I do like their theme, so recently I came across a window XP theme (not related to WindowBlinds but I'm getting that part) so I decided to give it a go. It required to install some stuff into C:/Windows/Resources/Themes, after a while I followed the instructions and WOW! It did not work.

Somehow it disabled my themes (which I have re enabled) and I decided to come back to good old WindowBlinds, when I found the theme I liked I install the skin and strangly it did not work! It went back to Windows default (not the XP theme), I thought it might be the skin but I tried it mutliple times with the other skins and did the same!

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 94 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

If that helps, any ideas?
Thx in advance, R3DN1T3

Without knowing what it is you installed to try to use the theme I would guess that it has altered Windows system files. As you have not said anything about removing/uninstalling whatever it was, try that. If it has altered system files you may be looking at at least a repair install of XP, possibly a format and complete fresh XP install.

NOTE
it is not A good ideal to use any other program other then WINDOWBLINDS for messing with the GUI
as for the others MESS with your Windows system files.

however the Skin you like you still mite be able to use, BUT you have to Convert it to a .wba at witch I think you have to use skin Studio. Not sure how to do it but have done it

Delete the Program you installed and HOPE LIKE HELL nothing got F- up but if it did
you will have 2 opptions
1) SYSTEM RESTORE POINT for the day you put that program on you System.
2) the one you will HATE reinstall XP
