OK, I will give it a try, emotionless as well.
I have to agree with Gideon. You do tend to blame Bush directly for things that even he has no full control over. The problem is you make it seem as if he is not actually looking at these probelms directly when in reality that is why we have several Gov't agencies, Depts and offices. Some problems in this country can also be solved and blamed on the local Gov't but again you refuse or dismiss this and jump straight to Bush as if he claimed to be the end to all probelsm in this country when we all know that's impossible. A perfect example is the pipeline in New York. Just because the Gov't is responsible for certain parts of the infrastructure does not mean Bush is directly responsible for every infrastructure in the country. You never pointed towards the inspection people who should have given warning, you never pointed to the money that already existed to fix these problems, you never pointed to the Mayor or New York or the Governor for that matter. In any disaster situation there are many people responsible but you chose to give them all a pass and go directly to Bush as if he somehow directly oversees these problems.
If you focused you articles on voicing the problems, addressing the reason it was not prevented, pointing at all those responsible (including Bush if necessary) and describing a solution to prevent this from happening; then maybe your articles would get more positive replies, more people involved and less
“it is just Bush Bashing”. But when you present the article blaming Bush as the first line or the title, and not acknowledging that there is enough blame to go around and having title for you blogg say "Bush Truth", you can't expect to get less than
“it is just Bush Bashing” replies.
I'll give you an example of this. I went to the DU.com site the day the black labrador, that helped find people on 9/11, died. I found an article on that site talking about the dogs death due to cancer from breathing the air at ground zero. I wrote an article about it
here. I read thru the replies where every so far was saying their goodbyes to the dog, untill I came across a person who said the dog did more good for this country than Bush has. I found it sad that on an article dedicated to the memory of a brave dog was being tainted by comparing him to Bush. Then someone else said that it was Bush's fault the dog died because he failed to give help to those who needed it, it was something about not giving the dog some kind of healthcare to save its life or something. I could not believe that someone had actually found a way to blame the death of the on Bush. I'm even more sorry to say that I could only think of you when I saw this, blaming Bush for every tragedy, every problem, every inconvenience in this country as if Bush was some kind of God that could see all, know all.
I don't expect you to understand or accept my point of view of your style. Its part of what the US is all about, choice of opinion.
