(HBO's John from Cincinnati) is such a strange show
it surely is.
with the dialogue and writing that was formerly in Deadwood
hearing those arcane, overly formal 19th century conventions spoken by more than a few members of the 'deadwood' cast makes everything else even more bizarre.
whoever's responsible for choosing music to play while the end credits roll should be commended...both for this show and deadwood. coltrane, sam moore, the yardbirds cover, etc.--all great stuff. same goes for the theme.
