XP Problems with LogonStudio

This particular problem is annoying the hell out of me, particularly because I seem to be the only one with the problem.

When I attempt to apply a logon, everything disappears, and the Unlock Windows prompt appears, asking for my password. Nothing gets applied. I log back in, and LogonStudio comes up like nothing happened. Everything I've tried doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, making sure that the installation path is set to: C:\Program Files\Stardock\WinCustomize\LogonStudio\

My system:
OS: XP SP2 Pro
Currently set as part of a workgroup, not a domain
My user account has full admin rights

What can I do?

do you have 'show the welcome' turned on in user accounts?

I have a question too - I use a logon from INVI called live http://007tinar.deviantart.com/art/LIVE-57924780 and according to its author it shows text about mails unread and programms running - but I do not see them. I see the rest (shutdown and stuff) I am on german xp

Any ideas??

Mine does the same thing. I even tried the unzipping the logonxp file and reinstalling LogonStudio but it always gives me that Unlock Windows dialog box.

I have similiar problem as jcmaguire. But from the begining. I downloaded LogonStudio, checked if works and it did at first. Got sources, spend 4 hours in photoshop making background. Then I loaded and edited whole logon screen. When I checked it i got "this computer is being used and is blocked" window. No screen like I did before. Tried reinstalling. Install patch is defeult. I got 'show logonscreen' and fast user changing options turned on. Using XP Pro SP2

Yeah, same problem here. XP SP2 Pro and only with a custom logon screen does this happen, otherwise I doubt this will even be fixed but dang I wish it would. So much wasted effort for it not working now.

After using logonstudio the "windows is shutting down" is not visible, how do I get it back? Which file do I edit? John
