Oops

Hi,at the weekend I uploaded some Dock Icons which were accepted pretty much straight away and showed in the gallery.
Unfortunately I had a bit of a senior moment and uploaded them to the wrong category,so less than an hour after them appearing in the gallery I re-submitted them to the correct category but havn't seen them since.Well I see them in moderation but I was worried that all my to-ing and fro-ing had messed things up.Is all well?

Thanks

An email was sent requesting you check the ZIP file as it is giving errors. Please correct this issue and re-upload.

Yes I did this on the day you sent that mail to me,I even replied. The upload of the new zip was accepted (I have this mail also)to the gallery, rated and even had a few downloads, but as I said I put it in the wrong category so I quickly edited it to move it to the right category and now it seems to be stuck in moderation.Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Here's the confirmation mail from 31/07/07:

Hey bobby: email from yesterday; they do try to get updates out quicker but moderation can take up to 5 days.

All updates for everyone, even journeyman and higher, who when first submit goes right in gallery, go back into moderation. The only thing I know that does not is a change in the description. Not sure if you can just change the category and have it move without going into moderation.

bobbyhundreds ...it was me who pulled that back into the queue again, as I released it after your second upload [having thought it was now fixed]. However when I downloaded and tested the file again [from the main library], I received the following message:

C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/Desktop/ModerationDownloads/Plastique.zip 37 extra bytes at beginning or within zipfile.

To double-check again, I just downloaded it a third time from the mod queue.... same result

Do you have another zip program you can try? Or can you run a test on the file before uploading again?

by the way ...it tested bad for two different moderators.

Thanks Erk,
hmmm weird,I don't know why that is happening.I used IZarc the second time and WinZip the first time.I look in the zip file and there's nothing there but the PNG s. so I'm really not sure .How do I test the zip?
Thanks.
