cursor xp

hi there please if i may ask for some help here with cursor xp.. to star i installed cursor xp in and it did not want to load it stoped my start up so i went into safe mode unisttaled it run registary cleaner reboot in safe mode installed it again in safe mode it all worked well then i reboot back to normal mode again it stope starup but this time i got a pop up message to do with windows stopping this program it was saying something about dll files so it stoped the program so ii had to go back to safe mode to unistalled i tried to install then disengage but it froze on start up so i went back to safe mode to unistall .... as a newbiee with this program so please may i ase for some here to solve this problem

CursorXP free or plus version?

Installed as a separted download/install or downloaded and installed through the Stardock Central browser?

your OS? x32? x64?

thank you for you time to try and help me sort this problem out,, ok it was the free version and iam using xp with service pack 2 on a 32 system.... thanking you

I've run the free and now the plus version on xp sp2

are you installing on a limited user account or admin account?

how did you install? save download, then install or run when downloaded automatically?

did you turn off antivirus when installing?


the actual error message would be helpful - " it was saying something about dll files " doesn't have a lot of info.
