Beta GUI

Power Archiver beta version 1020b2 or 10.20.02

I'm sure everyone knows of this program. But are you familar with the newest Beta release and how it shows up with Vista? I've given a few screenshoots here to show just that. But the current WB skins do not skin the program correctly. Thus neither does having WB configuration not skin the program. Reason being the new GUI is made directly for Windows Aero. That also being the fact for the new MS Office 2007 GUI.

The first set of screenies here are of the Aero GUI and second of a WB GUI. I really hope that this was addressed with the new release of WB 6. Being that Vista and that of the new MS Office programs using a simular or same type of GUI style interface. Thus at this point and time the WB interface has yet to support the Aero GUI system in Vista. Everyday now there are new programs written specifically for this GUI format and unless WB 6 addresses this issue it will not be complete for Vista. That and of those programs being being made for Vista.

Thus the findings are hard to realize without using all the GUI interfaces and see all results from what is or is not compatiable with the Aero GUI enviroments with Vista and MS Office 2007.

Comments are very welcome of this subject and those of a possible solution are well needed.
Thank you

That kinda sucks Shelby, I agree with you that hopefully WB6 will address the problem. If not and more companies follow suit it could be a bit of a disaster. Wish I could offer more and help out but alas only an opinion

Believe me SK there is a lot more to just this story. Seems there are other problems which can or are created by using an improper GUI substitutes with none other than Office 2007. I'm currently working on a possible policy error. Which I'll call it for now - but could turn out better or worse.
My hopes are that WB 6 has used the new Aero GUI for it's base format. This will completely solve all my ideas of what may be the problem. Thats with Office 2007 and new programs being made around the same GUI.
Next week will hopefully tell us all some really good news!!
