What was your last moment when you thought "Damn, I was so lucky that..."?
Personally, just an hour ago, riding my bicycle. I was doing about 60 kph, approaching a corner. I brake and *poof* goes the front tyre. It was pure luck that I managed to correct and keep the bike going, so when the front wheel decided to not stay upright any more I was only doing 20 kph.
The result: Tyre's gone, I've got a bloody and bruised elbow and hip. Hopefully the rim didn't suffer, I just bought it. (Mavic Ksyrium Elite, would be a bit expensive to replace so soon)
Still, compared to the alternative of that flat happening while going downhill or not being able to catch it... I was so lucky.
