I have just used the bootskin software to use a new bootscreen for my ACER Travelmate 292 running windows XP and my pc would not start up,except in safe mode anyone out there who can help me

When in safe mode, set the bootskin back to the default and uninstall the bootskin program then reboot. The bootskinn program doesn't work on all systems. Looks like yours is one of those systems.

Bootskin doesn't work with all BIOS. There are a few different versions on the Bootskin download page that you can try, but unfortunately if none of those work there's nothing you can really do.
