Who is REALLY the Biggest Threat to America?

Who is REALLY the Biggest Threat to America?

You chose

There seems to be the opinion the Al Qaeda is the single biggest threat to America. I say Bologna! Hezbollah is much more trained, funded and has a much larger and in your face following than Al qaeda has ever had, the only thing Al Qaeda has going for it is the name, and Osama Bin Laden AKA Cave dweller, He dares not to even show his face in public, while the leader of Hezbollah lives the life of comfort in Lebanon, thumbing his nose at the west and Israel.

In your opinion which of the terror groups is the most dangerous, there are so many to chose from:

Terror Groups

Abu Sayyaf
Al Fuqra
Al Gama'at Islamiyya
Al Muhajiroun
Al Qaeda
Algerian Armed Islamic Group
Algerian Islamic Salvation Front
American Islamic Group
Hamas
Hezbollah
Islamic Jihad
Islamic Liberation Party
ISNA
Jamaat e-Islamia
Jamaat ul-Fuqra
Mara Salvatruchas
Muslim Brotherhood
National Islamic Front
Yemen Islamic Jihad

all the above are known terror orginazations and are listed among known terror groups by American Intelligence.

Then there are the NATIONS that support terrorism, either sheltering them or financing them, giving them intelligence or arming them, Which Nation would you say is the biggest threat to America?

  • Flag of Cuba Cuba - Added in 1982 though no official explanation was provided. A 2003 report contended that Cuba supported terrorist groups during the period it was added to the report. Current justification cites support for members of Basque ETA and the Colombian Farc  and ELN groups. Conversely, Cuba has accused the United States of supporting, sponsoring and initiating Terrorism against Cuba since 1961. Those who oppose Cuba's retention on the list contend that Cuba has made repeated offers to the United States since 2001 for a bilateral agreement to fight international terrorism, but the United States has not responded Critics also argue that domestic political considerations are responsible and question many of the allegations made in the State department report
  • Flag of Iran Iran- Added in1984 According to the State Department, "continued to provide Lebanese Hezbollah and the Palestinian rejectionist groups—notably Hamas Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the PFLP-GC —with varying amounts of funding, safe haven, training, and weapons. It also encouraged HEZBOLLAH and the rejectionist Palestinian groups to coordinate their planning and to escalate their activities."
  • Flag of North Korea NORTH KOREA- Added in 1988  Sold weapons to terrorist groups and to have given asylum to Japanese Communist League-Red Army Faction members. The country is also responsible for the Rangoon Bombing and the bombing of Kal Flight 858
  • Flag of Sudan SUDAN - Added in 1993 "A number of international terrorist groups including Al-Qaeda , the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Egyptian Al-Gama's al-, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Hamas  continued to use Sudan as a safe haven, primarily for conducting logistics and other support activities."
  • Flag of SyriaSyria - "provided Hezbollah, Hamas, PFLP-GC, the PIJ, and other militia organizations refuge and basing privileges."

(I can't believe we switched from a quite interessant topic to a sheer boring one. I mean, what do you care about Canada's healthcare? It has flaws, it has good points, period. It could use a little more capitalism, and USA's could use a little socialism. You are the single most right-wing country about this, ye know?)

what do you mean?

What the Contintental USA (without Alaska and Hawaii) are often referred to.

But back to topic - however, as you see, topics have a life of their own, and tangents are often the rule, not the exception.

Leave it to danielost to take the article topic and shove it out the window and replace it with his own topic. LOL. I am curious as to how he managed to go from the biggest threat to the US to Canada's "unfair", to American non-Canadian truck driver, universal healthcare system.

Mostly, I just don't see his objective. What is he trying to prove by bashing Canada's healthcare system?

Even if you people are not supportive of universal healthcare like in canada (I don't know), you don't go out of your way trying to show how it's bad in every way possible.

I believe that Liberal has much different meanings in Canada and America.

that is the third time you say this to me, in three different post. It has the same meaning, you agreed with me when I described their general position.

sorry I get confused with all the responding to articles and all the articles I write, My bad.

Such is the fate of good threads. Cursed by someone who has nothing to do but come trolling around...

sorry I get confused with all the responding to articles and all the articles I write, My bad.

No grief retained

Anyway, stay tuned. I'll start a thread soon about the upcoming islamisation of the muslim countries, and how the actual war of terrorisms fits into it. It's a development about what I already talked before, but pushed even more forward.

Just make sure to put a disclaimer so that Canada's universal healthcare system stays out of the conversation. Not unless Canada's universal healthcare system has something to do with the "islamisation of the muslim countries".

I look forward to it.

I ditto that.

danielost, I have never came down on you, so why do you want to include me in an overall statement like that? I am far from perfect, My spelling is horrible so I use spellcheck, a lot. My grammar is bad, so I take advise on how to better it from the more educated here, when I am wrong, I admit it and move on.
Now stop being so sensitive and at least try to take some advise that some folks have freely given you, not with the purpose of them saying how smart they are but of of kindness and wanting to see you do better, write better more cohesive and coherent blogs.

Danielost, I have seen Gideon and little whip offer advise more than once and you get very defensive, some of your article are almost impossible to read because of all the bad spelling and grammar. Take your time, use word perfect to write your articles, it has grammar and spell check, that's what I had to do when I first came here, then when the article is done copy and paste it to joeuser, then all people can do is take issue with what you write, not spelling and grammar. You do make some good points, but they get lost because of all the people that pick on your spelling and such. The way to fight back and still be heard is to do like I advised you to. You will be surprised how fast your spelling gets better, trust me, soon you will click on spell check and there will be no errors at all.

As I understood from the other posts, he isn't that young.

But all right, I'm sorry. Couldn't resist quoting Sun Tzu.

I certainly don't advise. I'm just a meany-head.

MM, You have to admit that LW can come on a bit strong, but I have come to find she means well and so does Gid. Danielost, you will be much better off if you heed MM's advice. If it weren't for such people challenging us to improve our writing joeuser would be seen as a bunch of ignorants that can't write so good.

I enjoy getting news and information from Joeuser as a result. It's the random hick-up when you click on an article that has no formatting, spelling checked, etc that you feel like you just stubbed your toe trying to read.
