I have never claimed to be perfect. You started this conflict, I am just seeing it through.

A long time ago, you could have simply acknowledged what I showed you, what I PROVED to you. You did not. Even now, you've only backtracked far enough to admit I "might" be right.

Frankly, this pisses me off. Why? Because despite my utter dislike for who you are, I encouraged you with tips, I tried to offer input, and I read your blogs to see what you had to offer. Your response? To repeatedly spit in my face.

I'm one of your few regular readers, danielost. If you look back, you'll see that. There's actually a reason for that. You want me to stop reading your stuff? Don't post it to the forums, it's that simple. I will read anything I feel compelled to read that is posted to the forums.

You have tried to turn every conflict into an attack, danielost, and I have only responded in kind.

True, nobody's making me read what you write, but nobody is making you post to the forums now, are they?

when i read a post and notice misspelled words i muddle through and do my best to understand what the person is trying to say.

i don't tell anyone that they have misspelled words or their writing isn't up to snuff.

i read what they write. i understand what the write and then i respond to that not to their misspelled words.

if i have a disagreement with them on a specific point and we cant come to an agreement i move on i don't keep bringing it up for months at a time. The only exception to this is dictator gene, and that is because he only has one point.

if you think back the only time i have attacked you on a personal level is after you call me an idiot for misspelling a word or two. at the same time you are misspelling your own words in the same post.

i will not be attacked by you and i will not be driven off by you.

First off you need to take a chill pill. When I first started here I came across as annoying and ignorant to almost everyone. A few years later I am still somewhat ignorant to many of the topics and I try my best to avoid sticking my nose in what I don't know. But I have earn a bit of respect and appreciation from some here. I have learned to spell better, cause I too had that same problem and it still happens cause I suck at typing so I tend to hit the wrong keys quite often. While I am not as well know as some here like DrGuy, Little Whip, IslandDog and the infamous Col gene, I stand my ground and manage to stand out once in a while, I have even been lucky enough to have a couple of my articles featured on the main page, something I found very hard to accomplish when I first started.

As a responder to other peoples article, most won't make much of a deal of spelling errors unless you make repeated mistakes by the dozen in a single reply. Hell most of the time, if ever, they don't even hold you to writing with proper grammar such as well constructed paragraphs, capital letters and punctuation. But as a submitter of articles to express your opinion on any particular topic, it is my opinion (and I'm sure many here will agree) that proper grammar such as well constructed paragraphs, capital letters, punctuation and spelling are a must in order to, at least, get some respect just for writing the article and posting it and to be taken serious. I mean after all how can I take someone serious in any topic they chose to express their opinion on when they did not even take the time to properly write the article and check for grammar errors. It's bad enough when we complain about someone stating facts of which no links or proofs are provided and they expect us to do all the research ourselves. Most of my articles are based on feelings and therefor don't usually have links or proofs of facts. But if necessary I can link to where I got the ideas or if I find a place that matches my thoughts.

As a writer you need to make a better effort at being taken serious, otherwise you articles with never see a single post related to the topic and will find yourself in and almost endless back and forth reply battle that will deviate off topic so far that you may actually forget what the article itself was about in the first place. Take Col gene as an example of what not to due in an article, at least not until you get some good responses (even if opposite to your thoughts) on the topic itself. Make an effort and try to make your points more valid instead of resorting to name calling or that "you just can't beat my point" argument as a fact. This is just my opinion, BTW. Take it as you want.

See, and there you go lying again, danielost. One, I didn't tell you to stop with the misspellings, I simply REAFFIRMED what the others had been saying. That was it. Nothing else. Two, my writing, while not perfect, is still reasonably precise. There's a HUGE difference.

I did no more than Charles or LW on here, and you know it, danielost. In fact, Charles1 ECHOED some of my earlier criticism, yet you have no problem with it coming from him.

You want to live the rest of your life as a whining, simpering baby who writes at a second or third grade level? Be my guest. But don't wonder why people aren't reading your garbage!

You try what? You try to write things, or you try to improve? The entire other thread was devoted to your spelling because instead of spelling the word correctly, you insisted that it was just not the preferred spelling. As it turns out, most people do prefer 'because' to be spelled correctly. Becouse is not in the dictionary, because it is not an alternate spelling. If people pretending something is spelled a certain way means it's an alternate spelling, than there's a lot of alternate spellings out there. Even if it is in a song title.

Anyway, my point is, you could have just edited your post and we could've talked about the actual point of it. I know I would've.

Do me a favor (seriously). Find me ONE online dictionary that accepts the spelling "Becouse". JUST ONE. AN ONLINE DICTIONARY. NOT A TYPO on a webpage. With billions of web pages out there, any typo is likely to be repeated often.
