password field

is there anyway to change the appearance of the password field on xp using logon studio or editing the UIFILE? i have tried messing about with it but can't... get it to work.

There is an option to specify a bitmap, but that ends up behind the password field and is all but covered up with white, so there would seem little point to it. Is there perhaps a way to knock out the background color (white) of the password box to allow the specified bitmap show through?

No, there's no way to get rid of the white background. You can edit the uifile a bit to make the outline or border a little more or less, but the white will always be there.

I'd love to make it transparent, and have tried, but it's part of the XP coding, and nothing you do in Logon Studio will change it.
